Custom-Made: How it works

For individuals ordering a one-of-a-kind piece.

1. Tell me about your piece

Fill out a quick form with your vision, colors, and measurements.

Start by filling out the custom order form — I'll ask about your inspiration and intentions, your color and fabric preferences, and your measurements (chest, waist, hips). Prefer to talk it through first? You're welcome to book a quick call and we can chat about your vision together.

2. I source and create

Materials are sourced and your piece is hand-crafted — please allow 4 to 6 weeks.

Once I have your details, I hand-select reclaimed materials and get to work bringing your piece to life. Because every item is made to order from upcycled fabric, this takes time — please allow 4 to 6 weeks for production. I'll check in partway through with a sneak peek of your piece coming together.

3. Approval and delivery

You'll see photos before it ships, then get a tracking number.

When your piece is finished, I'll email you photos before it ships — this is your chance to see it and confirm everything feels right. Once you approve, I'll send it out along with a tracking number so you can follow it home.

Every piece starts here. Share your vision, measurements, and preferences below, and I'll get back to you within 48 hours to start bringing your piece to life.

FAQ

  • Most pieces take 4 to 6 weeks from confirmation to shipping. This covers sourcing the right reclaimed materials and hand-crafting your piece — since every item is made one at a time, I don't rush the process, but I'll keep you updated with a check-in partway through.

  • Rush orders may be possible depending on my current workload — reach out before placing your order and I'll let you know if I can accommodate a shorter timeline, and whether a rush fee applies.

  • No worries — I'll include simple measuring instructions when you fill out the order form, and you're always welcome to reach out with questions before submitting. If you'd rather talk it through, you can also book a quick call with me.

  • You can view the full size chart here to help you find your measurements before placing your custom order.

  • Because every piece is made to your exact measurements, I do my best to get this right the first time. As custom pieces are made specifically for you, all custom orders are final sale — I'm unable to offer refunds, credit, or exchanges once your piece has been completed. If something feels off on arrival, reach out within 10 days and I'm happy to advise on possible minor alterations, though this isn't guaranteed depending on the piece.

  • Since I begin sourcing materials shortly after your order is placed, changes are easiest within the first 48 hours. After that, changes may affect your timeline or may not be possible depending on how far along your piece is — just reach out as soon as possible

  • Because each piece is made specifically for you, custom orders are final sale and non-refundable once production has started.

  • I'll always email photos of your finished piece for approval before it ships. Please reply within 10 days so we can move forward together — if I haven't heard from you by then, I'll follow up before proceeding with shipping.

  • Ready-to-wear ("as is") pieces are paid in full at checkout. For custom orders, a 75% deposit is required to begin sourcing materials and start your piece, with the remaining 25% due before shipping. Please note deposits are non-refundable once production has started.

  • Payments are processed securely through Squarespace and accepted payment methods include Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Carte Bleue, and UnionPay, along with Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link, and Tap to Pay, plus Klarna for flexible installments.

  • Pieces ship via USPS at regular rate, and shipping costs are covered by the customer. Once your order ships, you'll receive a tracking number by email so you can follow it home.

  • Currently I only ship within the United States — but reach out and we'll figure it out together!

  • Because these pieces are made from reclaimed materials, care can vary by fabric. I'll include specific care instructions with your piece — as a general rule, gentle washing and air drying will help it last.
